Cromwell Design offers a professional garden and landscape design service in the Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth areas of Shropshire, by a qualified and experienced designer, Melanie Clemmey.
Melanie designs town and country gardens of all shapes and sizes, but specialises in small town gardens and challenging situations. She has designed many gardens in difficult spaces to complement both historic and recently built houses, and is currently undertaking a limited number of commissions of special interest.

Urban design and the landscape of austerity |
It is the start of my third year at Birmingham City University and the beginning of the major design project for my part-time MA. All the students are busy identifying a suitable landscape project and considering the approach they will take, so there is an atmosphere of nervous tension in the studio at present. I am especially interested in exploring landscape solutions that are appropriate for a time of economic uncertainty and that will be accessible for all regardless of income or physical mobility.
